Emergency slides are used in critical emergency situations warranting either evacuation or immediate return to rooms. Emergency slides can used in the event of fire detection, police attendance, intruders within the facility etc. Emergency slides can be easily and quickly invoked by staff, or, they can be automatically triggered via connection to external equipment. For example, the system can be connected to the facility fire panel – when the fire panel goes into alarm mode, a signal is sent from the fire panel to the system’s main equipment which in turn instantly halts the current output and presents the evacuation emergency slide.

Staff can clear down the emergency slides via the app. Once the ‘clear down’ message is received by the output devices, previous output rotation will recommence.

Emergency slides can be updated in real time. For example, if a “Stay calm and follow all staff instructions” slide is currently in output, this can be immediately updated with “Stay clam and evacuate”.

An optional tablet can be permanently mounted in a secure section of the facility’s administration area with the emergency slide options being presented on the screen. In the event of an emergency, a staff member simply needs to go to the tablet, tap the appropriate message and then tap the button to send the message to output.
