Zones
The system supports up to five separate outputs known as ‘Zones’. Zones can be set to different geographic locations. For example, an aged care facility that comprises a main building and a group of Independent Living Units could be split into two zones. Zone 0 would be called “ACF”, and zone 1 would be called “ILUs”. User created content destined for Zone 0 (ACF) would only ever be seen on TVs in the ACF and user created content destined for Zone 1 (ILUs) would only ever be seen on TVs in the ILUs.
Zones allow sites to dictate what content goes where, from the one single web-interface, rather than having to install multiple separate systems at the same site. UIG’s use of ‘zones’ along with modular components means total flexibility of who sees what can be achieved in an efficient and cost effective manner regardless of site layout.
